Waiting

I stopped by the nursery today, knowing full well that it's still too early for planting. Everyone has the itch... my instagram feed is full of people readying tiny pots for seeds and posts about garden plans for the summer. I'm not the only one and that makes me chuckle. Nonetheless, I came home with few pots of the sweetest little things and will have to keep them safely inside until May.
Do you garden where you are? What gets you super excited? They had the cutest-ever little strawberry plants in the greenhouse today! I love growing strawberries and can't wait to go back and get a few.

  3. These photos are lovely! I've been so excited to finally get these little hints of spring. I wanted to get involved in my local CSA, but my folks reminded me that we have two beds in the back of the house that were built solely for the purpose of growing fruits and veggies. I'm determined to make use of them this year. As far as flowers are concerned...my backyard is like The Secret Garden. I can't wait for all of my flora friends to come out and play.

  4. I started some seeds indoors last saturday. Since all I had was potting mix (which was dry and full of twig bits) I don't have high hopes. But it's still early.
