Puffy-Paint Votive Holders

My mom and I have very similar taste when it comes to almost everything...we're always saying to each other  "did you see this!? or that!?" It is true what they say, "like mother, like daughter;) So when my mom asked me if I'd seen the puffy painted mason jars on Pinterest, I immediately went to check...Oh my, it was love at first sight. There are some really incredible versions, and I felt totally inspired. Today I gave the technique a go on some simple glass votive holders:
Obviously all you need are some glass containers of some sort and 3D fabric paint in the color of your choice. Also may I advise to have no more than 1 cup of coffee before going at this...shaky hands will make you scream;) They probably won't be perfect, mine certainly are not ,but the more detailed you get with the patterns the better it looks. I just love the end result. You must allow the paint to dry for AT LEAST 4hours.
Little tea candles make them that much sweeter..I could totally see this as centerpieces for an evening garden party, dinner, or even something wedding related.
Look at the amazing shadows they cast!! This was one of my favorite projects so far:) I hope you give it a try.
