How to Make: Mini Pinwheels!

Hi guys, happy Friday! The weather has been so awesome lately, perfect for outdoor meals and get-togethers. Also perfect for fresh drinks and cocktails.  These little paper pinwheels are a cute way to dress up ordinary glasses and they make cute drink markers- remember which cup is yours!

You will Need:
-Patterned scrapbook paper
-Scissors
-Double-sided tape, hot glue, or Mini Stapler
-Straws (chopsticks and wooden skewers work great here too!)
Cut 3 small 2" x 6" strips of paper. Fold each piece accordion style, maintaining a width of approx. 1/4", I eyeballed this step but feel free to mark with a ruler. Once you have all three sections folded, trim of the tips of each folded section on an angle. Attach the three sections together, edge to edge, using either double-sided tape, hot glue, or a small stapler.
Pull your "accordion" around into a circle shape, attaching the last two sides together. A finger holding the center down is helpful here as it will want to spring out of shape. Cut or punch three small circles of a different paper pattern and glue/tape the first circle to the backside (center) of the pinwheel. Glue the tip of the straw or stick onto the back. Cover the end of the straw with the second circle. Flip and attach the third circle to the front center.
These happy little pinwheels would be great for a baby/bridal shower or a kids party. You can easily choose paper in colors to match the theme.  Wishing you all a happy weekend!
