A Break from Bleakness...
I thought I'd take a break from the cold dreariness of winter, which seems to weighing us all down a bit these days, to focus on the bright beauty of a few blood oranges I bought. They are so small and bright...vibrant orange with a deep red blush, and then to be sliced...rich in gleaming crimson.
Are they not amazing? The juice is intense berry red, see the way it seeps into the white rind...delicious. Crisp, fresh and full of color-pop. The perfect tiny pick-me-up:)
