We finally went to pick our tree this weekend! It was a lovely afternoon with part of the family, and although it didn't snow at all, we had a great time.
All in all, it was a really wonderful and festive weekend. Friday night we met my family at a gorgeous old church in Cold Spring, NY for a reading of A Christmas Carol in the sanctuary. They had done such a lovely job of decorating the church and the Hudson Valley Shakespeare Festival members read the classic in a wonderful way. Saturday we went to pick our tree and had a great time later that night at our town's holiday light parade. There was a huge turnout, and since it was our first time attending in our new town, we were thoroughly impressed with everyone's efforts and cheery floats.
I hope you all had a nice weekend as well! FOLLOW ME ON BLOGLOVIN!
