Spring Fever
Total spring fever around here...So much so that I splurged on a bundle of white hydrangeas while I was food shopping. The sun was mostly shining this weekend which felt like a real treat after all the winter weather we've been having. When the sun shines it puts me in the mood to bake. I made this Blueberry Cake Recipe this afternoon. It's super simple and a great comfort food. Makes the belly happy!
I love this cake, the crispy brown sugar top is the best part. I just can't wait for spring to start showing it's pretty face around here, do you feel that way also?

Yes! I can't wait for spring to finally come :) It's been an exceptional long and dark winter here were I live, it seems; but the days are getting longer and longer now, and that's just wonderful :) The blueberry cake looks lovely! Makes me want to bake right away ;)

DeleteThat cake looks utterly delicious! The past few days of warm weather have felt like a complete tease. The chill is coming back for a little, but I will hope and pray for sunshine and at least 40 degrees. I can't wait for flower buds and allergy season! ;)
